Rochford Supply is Hiring a Product Management Associate Near BROOKLYN PARK, MN
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes in the marine and upholstery markets.
- Subject Matter Expert: Become an expert in product knowledge for assigned categories.
- Product Development: Collaborate with internal product team to conceptualize, develop, and launch new products that align with market demands and company goals including ensuring necessary process standards are met. Coordinate and oversee the product development gate process.
- Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor products and strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Marketing Positioning and Messaging: Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to define product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
- Pricing and Product Data Management: Oversee development of competitive pricing that maximizes sales and gross margins. Ensure product data is loaded accurately and maintained as needed.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with supply chain on product inventory levels, forecasts, and procurement to ensure adequate stock and minimize excess inventory.
- Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to make data-driven decisions and improvements to existing products.
- Sales Training and Communication: Provide training to the Sales team related to new and existing products. Utilize strong communication skills ensure the sales and marketing teams are fully informed of product positioning, features, benefits and competitive advantages.
- Analysis and Reporting: Utilize Excel and other data tools to generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators, independently determine necessary actions and provide regular updates to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
